Cozy bunkers… a dearly departed cat… professional actors … who are also hamsters? All of those things are the comically macabre ingredients to an independent filmbeing shot locally in Huntsville, Alabama in February.
It’s titled, “Turns Out It’s the Apocalypse… we think?” and Katy Ganaway’s guests are the film’s director, Mike Hayhurst, and Natalie Lynch and Tara Jayn, who split the duties of co-starring and writing the film. It’s set in the end-times, in what they call an “everywhere town”- in Huntsville, Alabama.
